Upcoming Tournament, October 18th, 2008
The 6th Edition of the Manitoba Open is back October 18th @Windsor Park Collegiate in Winnipeg. The last five tournaments were a huge success with over 130 competitors from Thund er Bay, North Dakota, Winnipeg, Thompson, Regina, Calgary and Edmonton.
This one will be even better!!

Competitors:
We would encourage all skill levels to compete and we should have a competitive category for all levels.
We also would like to see more competitors in the following categories:
* Kids
* Students
* Female competitors
* Beginners (little or no BJJ training) such as wrestlers, Judo practitioners, football players and any other sport suitable for Submission Grappling.
The goal is to compete and have a lot of fun.
Registration:
Each competitor will have to sign a waiver form prior to competition.

Tournament Release and Waiver (“Waiver”):
All participants must sign a Waiver in order to participate. Waivers will be available at the tournament.
Fees:
Pre-registration Fee $40.00 flat fee for your choice of Gi, No-Gi or both
Registration Fee $50.00
Registrations will NOT be accepted after 9:30 am on the day of the tournament.
Spectator Fee: $5.00
Weigh In:
Friday, Friday October 17th, at Team Canada MMA Centre (349 Wardlaw) 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm.
Time:
9:00 am - Tournament starts and runs all day
